It’s hard to breath there

I have always loved going to my Grandmother’s house! She consistently has house cooked Italian meals in addition to desserts waiting for us, and everytime I see her, he makes sure I suppose how much he likes me and I usually have such a great time, then that being said, it’s getting increasingly difficult to care about time there as he gets older.

The older my Grandmother gets, the warmer he keeps his house.

Last week, he had us over for a get-together. The temperature outside was in the mid seventies, but my Grandmother refused to run the air conditioning system. There were about twenty people in his house, in addition to him still wouldn’t running the air conditioning unit, my Grandmother kept telling me that it would get too cold. Meanwhile, all of the guests were covered in sweat! Eventually, I snuck over to the temperature control in addition to turning on the air conditioning system anyways! It took him some time to notice, but all the people else were so relieved to suppose some cool air was flowing throughout the house. In the winter, it is even worse. She keeps her heat on full power nearly the entire winter, however at first, it feels amazing coming in from the outside, however, after about a half an minute, I find myself taking off layers in addition to starting to sweat. I guess that when you get older, it just becomes easier to get too cold. I’m sure someday my Grandparents will be saying the same things about me! Ignoring the uncomfortable heating in addition to cooling settings, I still care about going to visit my Grandmother, and when she’s gone, I’m sure the last thing I’ll recognize about is his heating and cooling preferences. In the meantime, I have become more strategic about wearing layers. I even carry a small fan in my purse when I visit. My Grandmother thinks it’s dramatic, although I recognize it’s crafty!
