Mobile gym when there was nothing else

When my husband and I bought our house there was a giant backyard shed that both of us wanted.

My husband is a big time hoarder.

He has tons of dishes that he used in college that can’t be thrown out. He has lots of clothing he no longer fits in. He never throws away a broken tool and will frequently pick things up on the side of the road simply because it is free. I wanted the shed to be a work out space for me but had to give it up for a storage dump for him. My husband has filled the shed to the brim. He added shelving and peg board in order to hang more stuff. I couldn’t even do crunches in the shed because it was so full. For working out I have struggled to find a place to go. My front porch is too narrow and inside of the house isn’t suitable. I found online that a shipping container company does do mobile gyms. You can get a prefab shipping container and convert it into the perfect workout space. Since I am not very technologically savvy, I called the mobile container company instead of designing the space online. The woman on the phone was amazing at talking me through the process. We decided on dimensions, electricity and how the space would be laid out. I got hooks to hold my jump ropes, shelving for my free weights and I even have a built in sound system. The space is just wide and long enough to hold a single folding mat perfectly. My mobile gym is going to be great and just be out of the way in my backyard.
