Waiting for my HVAC appointment

This means, I have the chance to rearrange my entire schedule, miss work, plus sit anxiously in preparation for a gruff mechanic to pull in the driveway, but once in a blue moon it takes numerous days for them to make the routine repair appointment

At least three or four times a year I get into a big argument with my hubby. Don’t get me wrong, we bicker a lot more often than this, but there are going to be at least a couple of knockdown, blowout fights per calendar year, and they basically happen on a set schedule. Every Springtime, we are going to get into a large throwdown about the air conditioner. Most winters, the exact same thing will happen when we start arguing over the central heating unit. Why are we so uppity and bitter about the central heating, cooling, plus ventilation system? It is due to the fact that every time we have to arrange a routine Heating and A/C plus air quality control repair appointment, I have to stay at home plus wait around for the stupid ventilation professional to arrive… Like clockwork, we made the choice that we needed the routine diagnostic appointment for our heating or cooling equipment, plus I immediately got volun-told to sit around and waste my day standing around for the air quality control specialist. There’s barely even a conversation about who will take on this task, and it is simply thought that since I am the caretaker of the house, I will be waiting around to greet the Heating and A/C professional. This means, I have the chance to rearrange my entire schedule, miss work, plus sit anxiously in preparation for a gruff mechanic to pull in the driveway, but once in a blue moon it takes numerous days for them to make the routine repair appointment. On the bright side, this year we are going to miss one of our big blowouts. This Springtime I have no concern waiting around for an Heating and A/C person to show up and repair the air conditioner. With the Shelter-in-Place order, I literally have nothing else to do.
